Our Sustainability Promise

Sustainable practices have always been at the heart of what we do, including the suppliers we work with to the materials we choose; we know we can do better. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re committed to improving our footprint on the world.

To date, more than half of the child restraints we manufacture utilise Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified packaging, made from sustainably sourced materials, making most of our boxes re-usable and recyclable.

Approximately 30% of the plastics used in our child restraint shells can be attributed to regrind plastic plus we offer extended use products to protect children for longer.

Our Journey So Far

Packaging

Packaging

Our journey thus far has been marked by a commitment to sustainability and innovation, particularly evident in our packaging practices. More than half of the child restraints we manufacture utilise Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified packaging, sourced sustainably for reusability and recyclability.

Extended Use

Extended Use

In terms of product development, Infa Group has pioneered Australia’s first Type A2/B/E Convertible Car Seat and Type A4/G Convertible Child Restraint. These products are designed for extended use, accommodating children from 0 to 8 years old. The Type A2/B/E offers three modes of use, while the Type A4/G provides extended rearward facing and harnessing capabilities, reducing the need for multiple restraints, and minimising landfill waste.

Recycled Materials

Recycled Materials

A significant aspect of our sustainability efforts involves incorporating recycled materials into our products. Around 30% of the plastics used in our child restraint shells consist of "Regrind Plastic," a form of recycled plastic resin. This approach optimises material usage, reduces demand on natural resources, and contributes to a circular economy model.
